what we believe

ABOUT god’s word

God has spoken through His written Word, the Bible. It is His love letter revealing Jesus, God’s love for everyone regardless of their sin or background, and His mission for our life.

About God’s Voice

We also see that God speaks a rhema word (word for the moment) through His people; that may be a word of wisdom or knowledge that reveals the hearts of men. This rhema word, will never contradict His written word, but merely provides insight, encouragement, edification, and direction to the person in need.

About Free Will

Is it the Sovereignty of God or the free will of man? The answer is yes! God is totally sovereign and man holds responsibility and must choose. With that being stated, it is important to us to offer countless messages aimed at helping you grow and walk daily in God’s grace.

ABOUT grace

Grace is God’s free gift to mankind that covers a multitude of sins. God’s undeserved grace is offered to all, and will be received by those who surrender their life to God’s purpose for them. Grace is not a “free pass” to live however we want, but rather a holy motivation to live life as God created it to be.

ABOUT JESUS

Our love for Jesus must have an expression. If we say that we love Jesus, then it should be evident in our actions and in the fruit of our lifestyle. John 14:15 says “If you love me, you will keep my commandments.” These are the very words of Jesus and serve as a reminder to prioritize the expression of our love for him in everything. We should make every effort to love God rightly and to understand him truly, to worship Him in spirit and in truth. We should make every effort to grow in the knowledge of God and for that knowledge to grow in us in order to bear the fruit of righteousness.

We believe that Jesus is going to physically return to the earth and set up what will be a one-thousand-year reign over the whole earth [Pre-Millennial]. This is not an issue to divide fellowship over, but rather a stance in which one can disagree. As important as this subject is, the differing views of eschatology (end-times) do not alter the first coming of Jesus nor the overarching story of salvation through the bible.

*However, nothing is of higher priority and value for both the believer in Christ and for the corporate expression of the body of Christ than obeying the greatest and second greatest commandments: “love the Lord your God with all your heart, mind, soul, and strength, and love your neighbor as yourself.” Mark 12:30-31

Why the name
REVEAL Fellowship?

A search through the Bible “reveals” that the word “reveal” is used frequently to express the uncovering of a hidden mystery or plan or a person. Since we are called as “ambassadors” [2 Cor 5:20] to reveal God’s character, nature and love to the unbelieving world, the “church,” then, is not a building, a denomination, an institution or an organization, but a gathering of God’s people, to whom and through whom He delights to express who He is. It is there that God reveals Himself through the proclamation of the Word of God, through the exercise of spiritual gifts [1 Cor 12, 14] given by the Holy Spirit, and through our love for one another [1 Peter 4:8] that reflects the love the Father shares with the Son. While we share many similarities with other churches, Reveal Fellowship is a unique mix of people of all ages from many different ethnic, social, and spiritual backgrounds, and we make much effort to facilitate a family-like atmosphere.
