Reveal Fellowship is a Place of Prayer! Our prayer meetings have a different focus and flavor than the typical prayer meeting. To understand, please watch the following two messages by Pastor Dave, outlining the importance of prayer and how to have effective prayer meetings (Planet-Shaking Prayer!) Following the videos is our guideline for effective corporate prayer meetings.

(Effective Corporate Prayer Meetings)

“I am praying not only for these disciples but also for all who will ever believe in me through their message. I pray that they will all be one, just as you and I are one—as you are in me, Father, and I am in you. And may they be in us so that the world will believe you sent me. “I have given them the glory you gave me, so they may be one as we are one. I am in them and you are in me. May they experience such perfect unity that the world will know that you sent me and that you love them as much as you love me.” John 17:20-23

“Behold, how good and pleasant it is when brothers dwell in unity!”

Psalm 133:1

  1. BE HUMBLE (James 4:6)

You are not here to fix others or promote your spirituality. Seek God to speak to you, about you, before speaking through you

  1. BE FREE (2 Cor 3:17; 1 John 4:17-19)

Fear or anxiety have no place in the temple of prayer. Fear of man only reflects an unhealthy fear of God. HIS LOVE has cast out ALL fear!

  1. BE SINCERE (Romans 12:9; Acts 2:42-46)

Keep it real…

  1. BE SUBMISSIVE (Hebrews 13:17)

Leaders have been given to protect the flock from not only wolves in sheep’s clothing, but also to redirect the flock when wandering in the wrong direction.

  1. BE JOYFUL (1Thess 5:16)

The attitude of gratitude prior to the answer will produce praise! Such joy will call those things that are not as though they were.

  1. BE BRIEF (Matthew 6:7-8)

Corporate prayer is not about giving sermons or testimonies through “preachy prayer.” Be led by the Holy Spirit, and “land the plane” in 1-2 minutes. “When you pray, don’t babble on and on as the Gentiles do. They think their prayers are answered merely by repeating their words again and again. Don’t be like them, for your Father knows exactly what you need even before you ask him!”

  1. BE BELIEVING (John 20:26-27)

Our authority to pray comes not through our feelings, but our faith alone in the promises of Christ Jesus.

“Assuredly, I say to you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. Again, I say to you that if two of you AGREE on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.” (Matthew 18:18-20) (AGREE: Sumphoneo-Symphony)

“How wonderful and pleasant it is when brothers live together in harmony!” (Psalm 133:1 NLT)
